Le`alani is a Kanaka `Ōiwi (Native Hawaiian) community planner and facilitator with over 16 years of experience using careful process design and facilitation to promote collaboration, visioning, and strategic decision-making among diverse communities, coalitions, and within organizations. Le`alani’s work has spanned community-driven trail planning with the National Park Service, community garden design and parks capital projects advocacy with NYC Parks and City Parks Foundation, and inclusive engagement campaigns, coalition building, and strategic planning with dozens of organizations and communities across the country.
